Dan Friedman began as an investor in tax-distressed real estate in 1991 and has managed tax lien assets on properties with a value of approximately $800 million. His firm, Optimum Asset Management, LLC, manages tax lien and tax deed investments for institutional investors and the family offices of wealthy individuals, with most of the capital placed in Florida. Dan is one of the senior members of the National Tax Lien Association, where he volunteers on the Legislative Committee. The author of Tax Lien Investing for Beginners, Dan received his MBA from Pepperdine University.  Dan resides in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.

Maxine Colville  has been involved in different aspects of real estate since the 1950's. Enough said. Maxine resides in Escambia county, Florida.


As an expert in the rehab construction, tax deed processes, and mortgage lending industries, Eddie Tawfik founded Young Scholars Building America (YSBA), a national non-profit organization dedicated to “building-up” America’s emancipated foster care youth with an opportunity toward home-ownership. Eddie has purchased and successfully renovated numerous properties since his first housing rehab project in 2009.  Eddie began his career in the housing finance industry where he was recognized by Countrywide sub-prime division for 'Outstanding Production' after funding $2.5 million in real estate loans in just one month. Eddie believes his professional and life experiences paved the path for the formation of the YSBA. Eddie resides in Escambia County, Florida.
